I was listening to 追 by 張國榮 in remembrance of his 10th years death anniversary and i found the lyric intriguing.

Have you come to a place laughing and realizing what you have been chasing is insignificant and knowing that Christ is the only One that is worth chasing after? 🙂

Nothing else matters when you have Christ in your life. not even your success, defeats, challenges!
Even when you are successful, you know it’s because of His favor towards you. When you are defeated, you know that He is Your restoration and the lifter of your head. When you meet with challenges, you know that He is your very present Help. Jesus is your everything in your good time and bad time.
Tithing is only for those who sees God as the head and tithing is the key that will cause you to prosper.
Galatians 1:6-10
6 I marvel that you are turning away so soon from Him who called you in the grace of Christ, to a different gospel,
7 which is not another; but there are some who trouble you and want to pervert the gospel of Christ.
8 But even if we, or an angel from heaven, preach any other gospel to you than what we have preached to you, let him be accursed.
9 As we have said before, so now I say again, if anyone preaches any other gospel to you than what you have received, let him be accursed.
10 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I still pleased men, I would not be a bondservant of Christ.
Preaching other Gospel other than Gospel of grace is a way of pleasing men and flesh. And Paul also mentioned that if he preaches another gospel, then he is not a bondservant of Christ.
1 Thessalonians 2:4
But as we have been approved by God to be entrusted with the gospel, even so we speak, not as pleasing men, but God who tests our hearts.
So today, there only one thing that God tests our hearts on, and that is on our faithfulness on treating the Gospel, the Gospel of Grace 🙂
Hahahs. We all know that it’s impossible for baby to have beard! In the same way, certain manifestations of Christ comes when you are mature.
For everyone who partakes only of milk is unskilled in the word of righteousness, for he is a babe.
To get out of the babe/infancy stage is to be skilled in the word of righteousness. To be skilled in the word of righteousness is to know that righteousness is a gift and it is to be received by faith 🙂 When that revelation hits you, you can’t help to be mature and to bear forth fruits effortlessly.

God’s open heaven of grace is over everyone but when you know you are His beloved, you are magnifying His goodness over your life
You become like grasshopper when you fix your eyes on your giants.
There we saw the giants (the descendants of Anak came from the giants); and we were like grasshoppers in our own sight, and so we were in their sight.” – Numbers 13:33
Likewise, you become like Jesus when you fix your eyes on Jesus!
It has been awesome 5 years since i re-dedicated my life to Jesus 🙂
so……How has the gospel of grace change my life?
It showed me that Jesus died for me not so that i can be a believer and go to heaven but He died so that i can be His son and enjoy heaven on earth,
Grace has also showed me that i am destined to reign in everything that i’m doing because He died to unleash abundance of grace into my life and He became sin so that i can be the righteousness of God in Christ Jesus!
For if by the one man’s offense death reigned through the one, much more those who receive abundance of grace and of the gift of righteousness will reign in life through the One, Jesus Christ.) – Romans 5:17
For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him.- 2 Corinthians 5:21
What is hitting the mark? To me it’s being accurate and successful in the things that you are doing especially in the area of decision making.
Therefore He is also able to save to the uttermost those who come to God through Him, since He always lives to make intercession for them. – Hebrews 7:25
The root word for intercession is to hit the mark. So do you want to hit the mark? come to Him, draw near to him and allow Him to intercede your situation because He lives to cause you to hit the mark. Amen?
Living life constantly looking at the past is dangerous! You know that the driver will take MUCH longer time to reach his destination or even get himself into accident if he is constantly looking in the rear-view mirror!
Yes! past including good and bad is important and precious but don’t let it hold you from reaching your God given destination. Let go, and Let God brings you to the promised land 🙂
