living life looking ahead!

 

Living life constantly looking at the past is dangerous! You know that the driver will take MUCH longer time to reach his destination or even get himself into accident if he is constantly looking in the rear-view mirror!

Yes! past including good and bad is important and precious but don’t let it hold you from reaching your God given destination. Let go, and Let God brings you to the promised land

¹⁸ “Do not remember the former things,
Nor consider the things of old.
¹⁹ Behold, I will do a new thing,
Now it shall spring forth;
Shall you not know it?
I will even make a road in the wilderness
And rivers in the desert. – Isaiah 43:18-19

Jesus is the cord that will never break!

Jesus is the cord that holds on to me. Just like the risk taker who trusts in the cord that might not break, I’m gonna trust the Lord that will never fail.

It’s not me who hold on the the Lord, but the Lord who is the one that is holding to me. And because i know He is holding on to me, i can face my fears and tomorrow

If they stumble, they will not fall, because the Lord holds their hand. – Psalm 37:24

Symbol of grace

As I was telling “Good morning” to Jesus on the day that I have to reach my office early.I hear Him telling me to lift up my head and pooof! I saw a rainbow. Jesus is so sweet, He comes down to my level to cheer, encourage and surprise me

Rainbow is a symbol of grace and what a sweet way to remind me that His grace is sufficient for my day

Have or don’t have?

Because of the cross, Jesus has supplied everything that you need.
Healing, provision, success and much more.

So do u really believe it?

Therefore take heed how you hear. For whoever has, to him more will be given; and whoever does not have, even what he seems to have will be taken from him. – Luke 8:18 NKJV

When you think you don’t have even though you have, whatever you have will be taken away.

BUT …..

If you believe that the cross has already provided, then MORE shall be given to you.

So…. Do you have or not?

My secret walk

In this quiet and secluded road
I quiet myself to look at you

Throwing away my inadequacy
Looking at your sufficiency

I came to you without any pretense
Knowing that there’s nothing You can’t

My emptiness consumed by your faithfulness.
My loneliness is lost in Your loveliness

And that night … I hear you say…
You still love me, you will provide me and it has nothing to do with me

Grace based parenting

It is innate that every child wants to please their parents. What kills it is the constant voice of nagging, accusation and condemnation from parents.

Children will do right as long they know that whatever they do, they are still the most well pleasing and loved in their parents’ eye. It is the unconditional acceptance and love from the parents that causes the children to do right.

So parents, be bold and praise your child and be proud to say that he/she is my beloved child, in whom
I am well pleased.

HTHT with God

“Here’s what I want you to do: Find a quiet, secluded place so you won’t be tempted to role-play before God. Just be there as simply and honestly as you can manage. The focus will shift from you to God, and you will begin to sense his grace. – Matthew 6:6 MSG

I love to take a walk at this quiet, secluded route which takes me about 15mins to reach my house from Dover MRT. It’s a route that i believe God has provided for me so that i can talk to Him without pretense. It’s a walk hat helps me to tune back into His rhythm of grace, and it’s a time that i’m able to be reminded of His promises especially when the day was lousy!

This walk is a walk where i seek solace in His presence and His nearness! Knowing that He is near to me is all that i need! When I know that He is near to me, i know that there is nothing impossible for God and there is nothing that can STOP me from fulfilling God’s destiny!

Amen! It’s ok to feel down and lousy but always REMEMBER to go back to the throne of grace and receive the very help that you need!

Desire

This is my prayer in the desert
When all that’s within me feels dry
This is my prayer in my hunger and need
My God is the God who provides

God, i know that only you can give me the desire, the desire to worship You wholeheartedly. Deep  inside me, i want to stand arms open wide worshiping You with only You in my mind.

Jesus, you are able to fulfill my desire.

Grace

A grace journey is nt without trouble, but with hope. We want perfection in our life, its nt abt perfect. Its nt what we do, its abt the way we do. The grace of God drives us to a point tt our dependency is on him. Follow the rhythem of grace, all of us have been made differently, embrace the differences in workplace, parenting etc. nth gd, nth bad, just a different way of operation. Perfection cannot be achieve with human effort. Spirit of excellance is nt abt achieving perfection, but doing the best with what God gives u.

Sowing and reaping

Thank you for showing me God’s love through the gift! Thanks you for the heart to bless and sow! It is indeed more blessed to give then to receive. Watch out! As you sow seeds in the name of Jesus, He will ensure that the harvest will come to pass. A seed that produces a tree with many fruits and in a fruit, there is many seed! Amen, blessed rest sisters
